The first written reference to Scotch whisky appeared in the Exchequer Roll of 1494. Friar John Cor, a monk from Lindores Abbey, was commissioned by King James IV to turn 8 bolls of malt into aqua vitae (whisky). We are so delighted that the story continues today with our latest addition to The Scotch Whisky Experience - Lindores Abbey Distillery. We’ve been eagerly awaiting this release from Lindores and have not been disappointed. Taste some liquid history for yourself.
